A Stay at Le Place d'Armes

When searching for our target lodging accommodations, we quickly found Le Place d'Armes to be not only one of the highest-rated hotels but the absolute best for the money.

The hotel is located in the middle of the old city and features 28 luxurious rooms and suites. Le Place d'Armes has been a Relais & Châteaux member since 2012. They've created an incredible hotel by remodeling and putting together 7 houses and housing 3 restaurants.

We stayed in the Executive Suite, which featured the most beautiful exposed framework and dormers. The fresh and hot breakfast is located in the Plëss dining room.

Le Place d’Armes

18 place d’Armes, L-1136 Luxembourg

Le Place d'Armes's values are Excellence, Attention, Aesthetic, Kindness, and Authenticity. We found that they excelled in all of these attributes. Everyone that we came in contact with was incredibly friendly, and the hotel itself was fantastic.

The hotel's 28 rooms and suites are beautifully designed, mixing Art Nouveau and newer and more modern styles. This design, combined with its distinguished history, is a beautiful and seamless combination.

I rarely find restaurants in hotels to really meet our needs or desires, but that's not the case here. One of Luxembourg's best restaurants, La Cristallerie, is actually located in Le Place d'Armes! Chef Fabrice Salvador wows guests with essential offers such as Japanese Kobé Beef, Mr. Jego's line-caught Seabass, and the Goose from Bresse.

Be sure to swing through Le Bar 18 in the back of the hotel, '"Best Bar Hotel in Europe" by The Villegiature Awards in 2019.
