The buildings history of jewelry manufacturing is paid homage on the first floor where jewelry is on display. The beautifully crafted lights in the main lobby sitting room were one of our favorite details. I have fallen in love with the boutique vibes vs standard hotels and this is a great example as to why!

Hotel Bagués

Hotel Bagués is an incredible little 5-star boutique hotel on Las Ramblas in the famous Gothic Quarter neighborhood. The hotel staff is incredible and hospitable. We were greeted with smiling faces, stories of the buildings history, and of course - a glass of cava! The staffs kindness and assistance made the stay an absolute 5-star experience.
The hotel has only 31 rooms and suites so if you plan to call Bagués home during your stay, plan in advance. Additional hotel features included a swimming pool, gym, sauna, and the gorgeous rooftop pool and lounge with views of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter.
Also included in your stay: a delicious set of handmade chocolates, daily purified water, free stocked mini-bar, and entrance to the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona.
How to Get Here
Getting to Hotel Bagués is incredibly smooth! We arrived at Barcelona Airport and took a taxi for just 25€. Another option is an affordable bus fair, usually only a few Euro per passenger. If this is more your speed simply jump on the A2 and then walk 7 minutes from Catalunya Place - Fontanella.
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the most lovely of staff with a welcome drink! Relax and enjoy your stay at Hotel Bagués and your trip to Barcelona!
